I want to practice – What’s in the mock tests for the Bright exam?

When you pay for the Bright practice test, you receive:
– A special Bright guide containing practical advice on how to prepare for the exam, as well as a list of points to review (grammar, conjugation, etc)
– A 30-day access to the practice test, which includes the answers to the questions.

What languages can I train for?

With Test Lingua, you can train for the Bright French test for the Bright English test.

How many questions are included in the test?

We currently have a “bank” of 163 reading comprehension questions and 113 listening comprehension questions for the Bright French test and 160 reading comprehension questions and 160 listening comprehension questions for the Bright English test, although during the practice test you only have access to 60 listening comprehension questions and 60 reading comprehension questions, as in the real test. The questions are displayed randomly so you can retake the test several times.

We are working hard to increase the number of questions each month.

Are the questions corrected?

Yes, once you’ve completed the test (once you’ve answered all 60 written questions or all 60 oral questions), you’ll see the results. Each question is corrected with an explanation, even the questions you answered correctly.

Please note that the corrections for the Bright French test are in French. Since you’re going to pass the Bright test in French, we think it makes sense to give you the answers in French and help you improve your skills in French. For the Bright English test, corrections are in English.

How long can I access the practice test?

Once you pay for the practice test, you have access to the test and correction for 30 days. Once the 30 days are up, the results (with correction) will no longer be available. It is advisable to save them if you want to keep them.

How do I access the correction?

Once you have completed a test (written or oral question), the correction is available on your dashboard. In the “Your Tests” menu, you can click on the little red button next to “Bright Test Preparation”. This will bring up the list of tests you have taken. Each question has a quick explanation: click on “examiner”.

Please note that the answers are only available during the 30-day access period!

Does the practice test contain the same questions as the real Bright test?

We try to give you the closest experience possible to the real Bright test, but we cannot give you the exact test questions, for obvious reasons. However, all of the questions on the practice test cover the same grammar, conjugation and comprehension points asked on the real Bright test.

How much time should I allow to take the practice test?

The practice test is designed to look like the real Bright test. You have 45 seconds to answer each reading comprehension question and 60 seconds to answer each listening comprehension question. You can plan on taking the practice test for up to 1 hour and 45 minutes, but it will take less time if you answer the questions quickly.

Note that you can quit the practice test at any time: your progress will be saved and you will be able to resume the test by logging back in.

I paid for a practice test, how do I access it?

Once you have paid, you will receive a confirmation email with links to access your dashboard. Once in your dashboard, you will be able to access the preparatory test by clicking on “Your tests” in the left-hand menu. Then, when the “Your Tests” page opens, click on “Bright Test Prep”.

Please note: If you have purchased a preparation for the French Bright test, it will be available on the French interface. Conversely, preparation for the English Bright test is available on the English interface.

Can I take the Bright practice tests from my phone?

The practice tests are available on the website, on a computer, and on an Apple or Android phone.

How can I improve my French or English before the Bright test?

If you want to improve your French or your English skills before taking the Bright test, we recommend taking Global Lingua online courses. These are private lessons, available online via Google Meet or by phone, with teachers who are familiar with the specifics of the Bright test.
